Red Hat JBoss Information Disclosure Vulnerability

Red Hat · JBoss

CVSS 7.5 EPSS 62% no public exploit indexed ransomware Fix deadline passed 15 June 2022

What it is

Unauthenticated access to the JBoss Application Server Web Console (/web-console) is blocked by default. However, it was found that this block was incomplete, and only blocked GET and POST HTTP verbs. A remote attacker could use this flaw to gain access to sensitive information.

Why we say that

  • Linked by CISA to known ransomware campaigns
  • EPSS puts exploitation in the next 30 days at 62%
  • CISA's federal remediation deadline (2022-06-15) has passed
  • Listed in the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalogue

Every line above comes from a named public source. Where the evidence is thin, we say so rather than inventing confidence — see methodology.
